Hey Reader,

I hope all is well in your world ๐Ÿค—

Beginner-friendly! If your Procreate app has been sitting unused, this is the perfect class to fire it up and create something beautiful.

โ€‹Register hereโ€‹

I'll share more details in the "Resource" section below ๐Ÿ˜Š

With that, welcome to this week's DRAW Newsletter!

Inside, you will find:

  • R: resource to create awesome art
  • A: affirmation of the week
  • W: wonder โ€“ a question to wonder about

Awesome, let's DRAW!

July 26, 2026

D: Drawing

The sweet bees from last week turned into this fun pattern! ๐ŸŒธ

Once you create a drawing, add a few supporting elements (like flowers, leaves, a watering can) and toss the elements around in an organic way.

A good app for this is PatternDraw, if you are drawing on an iPad.

This is the result ๐Ÿ˜Š

Our members at the Happy Creators Collective created adorable designs as well. Imagine selling these in your shop one day! ๐Ÿ˜Š

If you dream of opening an online shop to sell cute products with your art, it's completely possible!

It's easier than ever with print-on-demand services that will manufacture and ship the items for you.

Learn how at the Happy Creators Collective ๐Ÿ˜Š

R: Resource

Learn how to draw these adorable kawaii Garden Cuties step-by-step with me in Procreate!

I'll teach the full process. From creating your first canvas to exporting your finished stickers for a cutting machine or digital clip art ๐Ÿ˜Š

Best part is that it's totally free as part of your Summer Creative Retreat ticket, along with 50+ other fun art workshops!

I'll see you there next weekend!

Saturday, August 1st @ 3pm PT / 6pm ET (with replays, if you can't make it live).

A: Affirmation

This one piece of advice changed the course of my life.

I was 30 year old.

I wanted to become a mom, but I wasn't sure I was ready.

Was it the right time?

Could I really raise little humans?

I remember walking out of a pizza shop with an older friend, and she casually said as we crossed the road, "There is never a good time to have children. You just need to do it."

It was exactly what I needed to hear ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ง

Creating art may feel as scary as motherhood.

You might feel that you need more skills, different tools, or better camera before you can share it with others.

The truth is... start, and you'll figure it out in the process. Like having a little human in your arms makes you figure out diapers and nap times.

So here is this week's affirmation:

There is never a good time to act on your dream. You just need to do it.

W: Wonder

This is clichรฉ... but things become clichรฉ for a reason ๐Ÿ˜‰

I asked my exercise instructor (who is amazing!) if she would continue to teach if she had all the money she needed.

She thought about it for some time... I could tell it's a deep question... and said "Yes, but only when I felt like it."

Isn't it interesting how this question reveals what's working and what can be adjusted ๐Ÿ”ฅ

So here is this week's question to wonder about:

I wonder... Would I still do this in retirement?

If you had all the money, would you continue to do the same work? If not, what would you do instead?

Share your thoughts with me by replying to this email! I would love to hear from you and philosophize together ๐Ÿ˜„

Have a magical week! โœจ

Warm regards,
Tatyana

Hey Reader, Today is a special day ๐Ÿ˜Š It's either the longest or the shortest day of the year, depending on where you live. It's the solstice! It's also Father's Day in the Unite States. What an alignment! For me in Australia, it's the Winter Solstice. The longest night of the year. We plan to celebrate it with campfire and marshmallows ๐Ÿ˜‹ And guitar songs by the fire.
