D: Drawing

This week, we are illustrating a recipe at the Kawaii Drawing Club®. Soooo fun!

We are all feeling very hungry looking at the cute food 🤤.

Here is the "cheap and tasty brownie" recipe by Sarah Holder, featuring her adorable Koala named Strawberry. Aweee 🥰!

I'm always amazed at how much Tatyana has helped me grow as a kawaii artist, both in technical skills and cuteness-factor.

R: Resource

I would love to share of my sweetest art with you in a form of clip art 😍 as this week's resource.

I created these froggies for a local craft fair, where my children and I sold them as stickers 🥰. We made $250 for the day! 😄

They are very special to me, and I would love to see what you can create with them.

A: Affirmation

A lot of my reflections and affirmation come from my children...

This week, I am reflecting on experiences that feel super inconvenient in the moment, but are worth it in the end.

For example, my daughter REALLY wanted a Barbie doll house.

We don't have space for it in the living room, so I decided I would make space for it in my studio 😜.

It takes up half the room!

She played with it for a while, and then cooled off (as expected).

But recently, she came into the studio while I was finishing up work... and got into deep imaginative play with the dolls and the outfits.

She was literally role-playing with them!

Seeing her lose herself in play made the past 6 months of stepping over the doll house all worth it 😄.

So here is this week's affirmation:

It's worth it – for this one time.

W: Wonder

Here is this week's question to wonder about:

I wonder... what have I experienced in the past month that was hard, but worth it?

This question invites the magic of gratitude and awareness into our lives.
