We just completed a body of work with stickers in our community at the Happy Creators Collective 🥰

For a whole month, we drew sets of cute characters, and even learned how to create sticker sheets you can sell (I'll share them next week!).

When most people think of a sticker cutting machine, then think Cricut.

But I looooove my little Portrait 4 machine 😊

It's so simple, light, and cuts my sticker perfectly.

This month, I took a risk.

I committed to teaching a completely new course in our HCC community, called "Just Sketch".

This course leans heavy into my traditional art training, instead of the usual kawaii + Procreate that I've been teaching for a decade.

It could have been a hot mess 😆 (it's not!!!!!!! it turned out beautifully), and I felt a bit nervous going into it.

But I kept telling myself, "At the very least, I'll do a lot of sketching." 😁

So here is this week's affirmation:

If I have a chance to practice my craft, it's worth it.

I am stepping into a new era in my creative work of creating content online (dare I say.... consistently 😅).

Not just for our HCC community, but publicly as well 😊

There is a lot to learn.

A lot of systems to set up to make the process enjoyable and make it work for the long run (cause I ain't stopping 😆).

I realize, I don't need to figure it all out alone.

I can learn from others, who have come before me. I can model their systems and their way of being.

So here is this week's question to wonder about:

I wonder... who is the best example of living who I want to be?
