D: Drawing

We just completed a full series on how to design your own characters at the Happy Creators Collective.

A mega effort of 3 months, with every step documented on video, along with games, worksheets and exercises to support the process.

I feel so much peace now, knowing that this repeatable process is part of of our tutorial library at the Collective, and that anyone can follow it to come up their own unique character 🥰

One of the lessons in the "character design series" was about drawing characters with dynamic poses.

We learned how to do gesture drawing and how to transfer the pose to your kawaii character.

While gesture drawing is not kawaii-specific, we used this classical drawing technique to create super cute drawings!!

I am obsessed with this bag! 😍

I wanted an easy (and stylish!) way to bring my drawing and content-creation gear when I go out, and this bag is perfect.

We just watched the "Karate Kid" with the family.

What a great movie!!!!

So of course, this week's affirmation comes from Mr. Miyagi 😊 (Japanese karate master):

Inside you have strong root. No need nothing except what inside you to grow.

W: Wonder

We all have an "upper limit belief".

A defining thought (often unconscious) that sets the ceiling for our ambition.

I've been asking myself "what's my upper limit belief" all week.

It's a tough one, because my brain says "Nothing, I am open" 😆. But I know I need to dig deeper.

I have a few hints... and will keep digging.

So here is this week's question to wonder about?

I wonder... what are my upper limit beliefs? 😉

Once I am aware of them, I can do something!

I can skill up, I can change.

But asking this question is the first step 😊
