D: Drawing

This month we are drawing isometric art (art in accurate 3D perspective) at the Kawaii Drawing Club® – our online creative community.

This was our second project 😊.

I love the possibilities for imagination in this fun art style!

A: Affirmation

On Thursday, my son said 3 most dreaded words: "My stomach hurts".

This was at the beginning of the day, when I was scrambling to make everything ready for the Procreate Workshop.​

I've already pushed the "go" date twice... cause... you know... #momlife

My husband even stayed home, so that I could focus on work.

And... my son got a stomach ache, which usually ends very messy (I will spare you the details).

I was torn.

Do I sit by his side and soothe his belly? (Mom's hands are the best!)

Do I focus on work, and plow through?...

I ended up working for 15 minutes, and then checking on him.

Work is important, but children and family first ❤️.

Fortunately (miraculously!) he was ok after lunch (thank you 🙏).

At the same time, I was fully prepared to be by his side for as long as he needed me.
