D: Drawing

For this week's drawing, I would like to tell you the story of how Herb Sprites are born 😊

Herb Sprites are little garden spirits in my Garden Cuties world.

They care for the plants and give them life force ✨

I chose to tell their birth story as a mini-comic. So sweet!

If you love Studio Ghibli, you might appreciate their lesser-known film "Tales from Earthsea".

So many gorgeous moments in the film!

It wasn't as popular as their other movies due to slower pace, but I truly enjoyed the story, the magic, and the beautiful visuals.

A: Affirmation

We just got a 3D printer.

The children are having a ball coming up with ideas of what to print.

I see them push the boundaries!

No small thinking, haha.

For their first print, I said "Let's do a fidget toy" (in my mind, something simple and small).

But they said, "No, let's do this giant fidget grid" (it looked awfully complicated 😆).

I didn't want to give them my limiting thoughts, so we just went for it.

And it came out perfectly! On the first go.

Of course, that's no always the case. But my lesson in this is assume failure just because it's something new. Just go for it!
