D: Drawing

Last week, I shared that we began designing our own characters at the Happy Creators Collective.

I just LOVE seeing all the cuties pop up in the community! 🥰

This week, we are bringing our research to life by ACTUALLY creating an original character. And learning how to draw it in different perspectives.

Hint: there was some clay modeling involved to draw the views right 😆

I demonstrated these skills by drawing Eddy the Eggplant – first character in my "Garden Cuties" collection.

He lives on the artsy side of life, and his main superpower is companionship.

If you would like to create YOUR own character collection, set up a shop, and learn how to bring your art to your audiences, join us at the Collective for this "year project"!!

We just begun. You can easily catch up with these 2 lessons 🥰

R: Resource

This week, I am enjoying the work of Liz Kohler Brown. She makes beautiful organic patterns in Procreate.

She shares her process on her YouTube channel 🥰

I hope you will enjoy her work too!

A: Affirmation

The school term is about to begin in Australia (we are just finishing up summer holidays 😆). So I am organizing children's classes and activities.

For a homeschooling parent, the effort is next level! 😅

Before I fall into the overwhelm land, I need to remind myself to take it one step at a time.

So here is this week's affirmation:

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

W: Wonder

Here is this week's question to wonder about, related to the above affirmation:

I wonder... what task am I trying to tackle that's too big for one go? How can I break it into smaller steps?

I hope you have a beautiful week ahead!

With love,
Tatyana
