D: Drawing

Here is one of my favorite holiday-themed drawings. 🥰

I drew it last year, while on a family beach vacation. Cause in Australia... Christmas is in the summer! 🏝️🎄

Even though it's Christmasy, I still feel that the sunny vibes made it to the drawing.

Isn't it interesting... how our personal feeling of the moment comes through in the drawing!

I draw a lot on my iPad these days. It's been a struggle to get my iPad into a comfortable drawing position (I used to put my son's Rubik's cube under one side 😆 to create the tilt), until I found this Benks stand!

I love that I can get any angle – vertical or horizontal. And it's GREAT for taking photos of my art on the iPad, because it's so sleek and I can arrange it in just the right position. 😊

A: Affirmation

I heard this idea from Myron Golden. EVERY situation has a positive and negative side to it.

I know we've heard this before...

Here is how he put it. Have you ever eaten a one-sided sandwich? Or flipped a one-sided coin?

No, it's not possible!!

And thus, it's true that every event, feeling, and experience carries both aspects.

Things will happen today – that's life. Some of them I will like, and some will annoy me 😂. But no matter what happens, there will be a positive side to it (I just might need time to to see it ☀️).

So here is this week's affirmation:
