Wow, I FINALLY got my head around creating pixel art in Procreate.

Turns out... it's so much easier than I imagined (especially with the latest Procreate update) 😄.

This week I am discovering SO MANY awesome typography books (our theme for December at the Happy Creators Collective is lettering, so I am brushing up my skills).

I already gave myself lots of early Christmas presents, haha.

They books are still in transit... but this one I am especially excited about.

It contains over 400 images of real posters and signs from the 1950s (before AI) to capture and document this beautiful art form.

What a gift to humanity!

A: Affirmation

This month, my children are having LOTS of additional activities to prepare for their end-of-year performances.

I love the fact that my work enables me to support them with this: to take them to rehearsals, to work on their costumes, to practice their lines.

The cost of this flexibility... is the pressure of being fully responsible for my paycheck every month as a business owner 😆.

The sleepless nights, the anxiety, the hustle.

But this week, I've come to fully embrace that the cost is so worth it.

So here is this week's affirmation:

W: Wonder

I picked up this piece of wisdom from Alan Watts (thanks to a YouTube recommendation 😄).

Our reality is in constant interaction with us.

The people we meet are just as affected by our presence, as we are by them.

It's a duet, not a solo.

So here is this week's question to WONDER about:
